ZERO iPhone App

Our iPhone app is available in the AppStore now! I just managed to test it a couple of hours ago and everything works incredibly well.

There are a total of 6 background color themes available to choose from (Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Orange and Black). Also, there is an option to turn the timing (Hour & Min) in the middle ON/OFF. We have a lot more ideas for functionality and interactivity, which will be added in the future updates. So consider this version to be just the beginning and the basic function of the moving ZERO swirls. There will be some more really cool features! Click the icon to get it from the store, it’s free:

Credits to Robin for helping us develop the application. You can visit his website at http://www.mairdesigns.com/

ZERO Gravity

Hey guys!

We thought it’s time to give our first model of ZERO Watch a name. After some brainstorming exercise, we came up with “black hole” since the original concept looked something like that with the black circle in the middle.  But we kinda preferred having a single word (noun) after ZERO and.. “Gravity” came into our mind.

So, there you go! Our first model name: ZERO Gravity

Immediately, we designed the engraving that will be on the stainless steel case-back of ZERO Gravity. A-ha!

ZERO in russian playboy magazine

I almost forgot: The ZERO watch will be featured in the upcoming Russian Playboy Magazine. I think now we can really say that time has never been that sexy.

It appears they got something wrong about the clock face because we discovered the word “LCD” in between those cyrillic letters (no, it’s not a digital watch, hehe). Unfortunately it was already closing date for the articles as we discovered that. Anyway – we are in the Playboy !! :-)

Packaging Design

Hi folks,

slowly but surely we have to get our packaging done. We thought about different possibilites to wrap up the ZERO watch, keeping in mind that it has to be simple and matches the whole concept. I always imagined a round packaging of some kind, so i came up with this idea of a donut-shaped packaging with big logo print on top. If the watch is strapped around the inner tube, and the packaging would be made of transparent plastic, you could see the watch from all sides through the side of the box. There would be a label on top with the neccessary information about model and color. I hope you get the idea with my sloppy scribble…
